Mission and Objectives

We are a nonpartisan, community-based group committed to protecting Clark County’s farmland and rural way of life through responsible and civil advocacy. We welcome all who share our concern and believe in working together respectfully for the good of our community.

Mission

At Harmony Farmland Preservation Coalition, our mission is to protect Clark County’s prime farmland, rural character, and natural resources from the threats posed by large-scale industrial solar arrays. We are committed to preserving the rich agricultural heritage that sustains our local economy, maintaining the scenic rural landscapes that residents and visitors cherish, and safeguarding vital habitats and migration paths for local wildlife. Through responsible land stewardship, we advocate for the protection of soil health, clean water, and the rural way of life — ensuring that property values, quality of life, and the environmental integrity of our community are not compromised by unchecked industrial development.
